Kids These Days of the Day: A woman in Aiken reports that a 10-year-old boy pulled a gun on her after she jokingly threatened to take away his trick or treat candy.
A 28-year-old woman notified Aiken Public Safety that she recognized the boy from her neighborhood and approached him and a group of other juveniles. After jokingly suggesting that she would take their candy, one of the kids responded “no you’re not bitch,” and pointed a 9mm handgun at her.
The gun was not loaded, but the boy had bullets on his person. Lt. David Turno said the boy and his brother were both carrying weapons which they stole from their grandfather.
The boy who brandished the gun was briefly detained by police before being returned to his parents.
